The band performs the compositions with confidence at every turn. The vocals are strong and well executed across the entirety of the release. As mentioned, the horns play a huge role on this release adding a touch of class and punch that only brass can achieve. I highly recommend this album to fans of the 70s's dance tracks that were a part of the soundtrack of many of our lives!

Slainte, Baby’s bio casually drops that songwriter Paul Reeves “honed his craft with the honor of mentorship by the late, great Merle Haggard,” and that legacy rings through. “Sure Took A Long Time” is the standout: warm, full-bodied, and worth a toe-tap. Jessica Reeves’ vocals glow with depth and control, while Paul’s songwriting leans into vintage stylings without sounding dated. “It Ain’t Lost On Me” dials it down with ballad-level tenderness, revealing emotional range. There’s warmth here, a worn-in, lived-through musicality that hints at a love for the golden age of soul-rock.

Windswept Partnership: As a registered songwriter, his creative works—such as the track "Super High Rocky Road" and the co-written song "Freak Show"—fall under the Songs of Windswept Pacific umbrella.
"Sweet Tea & Cadillacs, written by Reeves" was published through Songs of Windswept Pacific (BMI) and distributed via Windswept Records in 2005. The song climbed into the Billboard Country Charts Top 100 and Reeves received the Editors Star For Musical Merit
